I made one of those for my art project, not as detailed as I didn't have the correct brushes though, this is fabulous, looks like a barbie horse gone wrong :D

Thank You :D I found it easier to use paint markers and fine liners for the details until I could get my hands on miniature paintbrushes :) I think it started out life as one of Barbie's horses, my work is loosely based on the idea that if Barbie was a real woman she'd die instantly as she's so disproportionate

Clever idea :) I only had that night to complete it as i had been running about trying to find a horse model, it was also a material covered and fuzzy so quite hard to paint, but i was really pleased, and haha, she would also be anorexic and filled with botox :D ND yeah i think i had that horse as a child, it was called buttercup too xD

I learnt that idea through lots of mistakes and practice :) I agree completely on the Barbie comments! I started off using Barbie dolls rather than the porcelain ones and it was shocking just how different to a human skeleton her body is! Aaww I chose deliberately cute and twee names for the dolls to juxtapose with the lack of skin :D
